SHALOM! Selamta and greetings to one and all in the name of the King of kings Qedemawi Haile Selassie.
It’s Shabbat so InI here at Melek Media House are just moving through the Shabbat Torah portion and meditating on a few verses we found in the Scofield Reference Study Bible. We came across this gem on the topic of man’s trinity- that is, his triune created nature, in the image of the trinue uncreated Creator Selassie.

I Thessalonians 5:23 ‘And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless to the coming of our Lord, Iyesus Kristos. Faithful is He that calls you, who will also do it.’

Scofield’s note on this verse says:

‘Man a trinity. That the human soul and spirit are not identicle is provedby the facts that they are divisible (Hebrews 4:12) and that the soul and spirit are sharply distinguished in the burial and resurrection of the body. It is sown a natural body (Greek soma psuchikon = ‘soul body’), it is raised a spiritual body (soma pneumatikon) see I Corinthians 15:44. To assert therefore, that there is no difference between soul and spirit is to assert that there is no difference between the mortal body and thre resurrection body. In Scripture use, the distinction between spirit and soul may be traced.

Briefly, that distinction is that the spirit is that part of man which “knows” (I Corinthians 2:11), his mind. The soul is the seat of the affections, desires and so of the emotions and of the active willthe Self. Read “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful” (Matthew 26:38, also Matthew 11:29 and John 12:27). The word translated ‘soul’ in the O.T (nephesh) and is the exact equivalent of the N.T word for soul (see eg. Deut 6:5 and 14:26, I Samuel 18:1 and 20:4 and 17, Job 7:11:15 and 14:22, Psalms 42:6, 84:2).

The N.T word for spirit (pneuma) like the O.T ruach, is translated ‘air, ‘breath’, ‘wind’ but predominantly ‘spirit’ whether of God (e.g Genesis 1:2, Matthew 3:16) or of man (Genesis 41:8, I Corinthians 5:5). Because man is ‘spirit’ he is capable of God-consciousness and of communication with God (Job 32:8, Psalm 18:28, Proverbs 20:27). Because he is ‘soul’ he has self-consciousness (Psalms 13:2 and 42:5,6,11); because he is ‘body’ he has through his senses, world-consciousness.’

Jah consciousness keys = I Corinthians 2:9-16

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (Isaiah 64:4). But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Spirit teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual (iritical). But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But InI have the mind of Christ.

(Mind here corresponds to Hebrew ‘LEB”. Greek νοῦςNous‘ meaning the intellectual faculty, the overstanding.)

See Isaiah 11:2 and Revelation 1:4.

Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick overerstanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Slaying the wicked with the breath of His lips: Emperor Haile Selassie I at the League of Nations in 1936.

Revelation 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. And Iyesus Kristos hath made us kings and priests to God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen!

(MMH note: Iyesus Kristos AKA Jesus Christ is the Prince of the Kings of the earth. Jesus is not King of kings. Qedemawi Haile Selassie is King of kings! All glory be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. SELASSIE! Amen!)

The God and Father of our Lord and Prince, the King of kings and Lion of Judah. Selassie is triune. Man is triune. Direct your spirit to search for the Creator, and ask HIM to give you His Holy Spirit to teach you of HIM!

Till next reasoning, shalom Rastafari
