South Africa’s Nobel peace laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu says he will never worship a “homophobic God” and will rather go to hell.
“I would refuse to go to a homophobic heaven. No, I would say sorry, I mean I would much rather go to the other place,” Archbishop Tutu said at the launch of the Free and Equal campaign in Cape Town.
Archbishop Tutu said the campaign against homophobia was similar to the campaign waged against racism in South Africa.
“I am as passionate about this campaign as I ever was about apartheid. For me, it is at the same level,” he added.
(MMH note: There you go Africans at home and abroad. Archbishop Tutu equates Homophobia with Apartied Racism. Quite a comparison to make. Essentially what he is saying is calling Homosexual behaviour ‘sin, ‘unnatural’ or ‘wrong’ is equal to the enslavement and opression of a nation of Black people (we include ‘Coloureds’ and ‘Asians’ in that category) in their own land? No.
Violence is deplorable unless used to defend life or liberty. We don not advocate killing people for Sodomite or Lesbian behaviours. But saying that you would rather go to hell than live in Zion?
Revelation 22:14-15 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Dogs – that’s Hebrew euphemism for homosexuals. So as Rastafari, not willing that any man should perish in sin, we say repent and change your heart/mind and come to Christ. Is legal homosexual sex worth more than everliving life? Tutu thinks so, and the war on African Hebrew culture and spirituality is now obvious. It is not a war on Human Rights abuses. InI condemn murder and brutality all over this earth. But don’t call yourself Archbishop of Christ. You are following another Father, not Abba Kiddus.
May all creation come to know HIM. Shalom, Rastafari]
